Our Angel DevinGod created the heavens and the wind in the trees.
He gave us sun in the morning and big bumble bees.
After all this beauty, God still was not through.
So he created an angel, and named him Devin.
Devin came to us one day in June.
So small and fragile he needed his family to live.
No one could ever imagine how much he would give.
This small little angel showed us a way to find joy of living each and every day.
Devin asked so many questions and wanted the answers to them all.
Forever our lives were never the same.
Devin had favorite things that he liked to do, From playing football and karate and picking up pennies in the parking lots, and riding on his 4 wheeler with his Poppa on Sunday afternoons.
This angel named Devin so loved you could see by Granny and Poppa and his hole family.
He thrived and he grew beyond all expectation.
This work of the heart, God's lovely creation.
Then as God planned, he called Devin home, but he promised Devin's family they would never be alone.
See, love is a spirit that grows from within you.
As we live every hour, we remember our Devin.
Though we can't kiss him or see his smiling face. We can still one day see him in a beautiful place, where children are happy and angels abound, This is where our little Devin is found.
Living on earth just won't be the same without our little angel, Devin is his name.
Someday we will find him, when it's our name God calls.
We will see our little angel Devin, Pennies and all.
