When Randy
Kalpin, one of the founders of BabySteps, unexpectedly lost his 20 month
old son Spencer, his grief was overwhelming. Searching for information
and knowledge that could help him with his pain and confusion, he turned
to books. Unfortunately, he found that it was:
"...hard
to find good books that dealt exclusively with bereavement as a result
of losing a child. I didn't want the big grief picture. I lost a child
and all I cared about were books that spoke to me and my particular
loss. It was with this in mind that I provide you with my recommended
reading list, reviewed from the point of view of a bereaved parent."
