Stories of Other Loss
Frequent Thoughts...
by L. Shea, Toronto, Canada
On a sunny spring morning the sunlight streams through the front hall window. It warms the tiles on which my little one sits. Patiently I watch as my three year old daughter puts on her little black paten leather shoes. Nimbly she manipulates the thin strap through the buckle and latches it. She then pauses, turns up to look at me and asks, 'is this the right foot mom?' I nod and say 'Yes it is' then thoughts of you little Spencer enter my mind once again. How very often I think of you... How very often I think of your mom and family... How very often my eyes fill with tears of sadness. Les, my thoughts are with you on this day.
